This paper is intended to develop previous work showing the basic geometrical flaw in EH theory, which is the neglect of torsion. The EH theory is essentially one based on an arbitrary assumption (spacetime has no torsion) and in consequence a particular, early nineteenth century, Riemann geometry. Various exact solutions of the EH equation were examined by computer algebra in paper 93 and found to be incompatible with the Bianchi identity as developed by Cartan. So I intend to explain this flaw in more detail in this paper because it is essential to move forward from the geometry used in EH theory to the self consisetnt ECE geometry.
